When this year's digAMus Award is presented on October 22, we'll be keeping our fingers crossed for our partner SKD. The Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden (SKD) is among the contenders for the prize for the digital project of museums with the robotron*Daphne multimedia guide!
The 2020 digAMus award will be presented for innovative museum projects in virtual space for the first time. Not just since the Corona pandemic, digitization has also come into focus in the exhibition sector. Virtual experiences complement on-site visits with additional information or exhibits for example, for which there was no space left in the exhibition rooms. A great deal of attention is also being paid to the creative integration of inclusive offerings. More than 100 digital projects from museums across Germany were submitted by the end of September. A five-member jury will finally select the winner. The shortlist of nominees will soon be available on the digAMus Awards website: https://digamus-award.de/
