Release 2.7 of the robotron*Daphne museum management system has been rolled out since February 2024. The new version once again includes some exciting features and innovations, such as
- New display mode under Media: resolution and quality
- Extension of the sorting of locations when entering new locations and extension of the copying of restoration processes
- Filter function for saved search results
- Addition of hierarchical object pages to the guides
In addition, platform support has been updated and described up to release 2.8. With immediate effect, some operating system platforms for the operation of robotron*Daphne are no longer available, as their manufacturers have ended support:
- Windows Server 2016 R2 and Windows Server 2019
- Oracle Linux 7.x
This also applies to the Microsoft Office 2016 and Microsoft Office 2019 office packages. For security reasons, we advise all customers who are still working with the operating systems listed above to upgrade as soon as possible.
