Dresden, 17.02.2025 – The Robotron Databanks-Software GmbH, a leading provider for Data banks, IT and Cloud-Solutions in DACH-Space, offers immediate Oracle Cloud Services on the Framework agreement of the Open Clouds for Research Environments (OCRE).
Since February 2025, the traditional Dresden company has been part of the GÉANT service provider network. Enabling research institutions, Universities, Public health facilities and Non-profit organizations in Germany to gain unbureaucratic access to Cloud resources.
As part of the contract, Robotron Data Base-Software GmbH will function as the exclusive sales and service partner for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in Germany until 2030.
The use of Oracle Cloud infrastructure enables participating institutions to implement innovative cloud and AI projects in a legally compliant, efficient, and cost-effective way. Integrating forward-looking Oracle Cloud Services such as Autonomous, GenAI and Heatwave
