The COVID-19 crisis has affected large sections of society; this has had an impact on energy requirements and thus on the energy industry. The processes of energy procurement and sales are particularly affected. Due to reduced energy consumption, forecasting processes for long-term electricity procurement are currently based on load profiles no longer representative of the market. As a specialist for energy data management with a comprehensive forecasting portfolio, Robotron enhances these value-added processes with flexible system solutions and expert knowledge.
Robotron supports you in the optimal use of proven instruments like robotron*epredict in order to be able to optimally use standard functions, such as the definition of exclusion days under the current conditions in day-to-day business. System expansions are also planned for the very heterogeneous and highly automated forecasts that are generated within the framework of energy sales processes. The aim of the adaptations is to be able to map dedicated configurations individually. In addition, a service will be made available which will take over the evaluation of the exclusion days and thus support the downstream forecast processes.
The necessary basis for this solution is to be provided as part of a Patchset in May 2020. The complete solution set including the maintenance in the Robotron energy market platform is available within a future Patchset.
