In spring 2023, Oracle released the Database 23c Free Edition for developers, which is based on the previous Express Edition 21c. Our docents at the Robotron Training Center have already been testing the Free Edition intensively for several weeks and have created two new practical workshops on the Oracle Database Release 23c on this basis.

As part of Oracle Cloud World in Las Vegas, Oracle has now released Database 23c. This will be the next Long Term Support release and is initially available in the OCI as a Base Database Service.
